Valente & Barbosa Advogados brings together lawyers who have worked in the Brazilian states of Amapá and Pará for more than twenty years. Each matter starts with understanding the client’s business, because that is where the legal strategy comes from.
The firm acts for individuals, companies and institutions before the state courts of Amapá and Pará, the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region, the Labour Court of the 8th Region, the Electoral Court of Amapá, the Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Supreme Court, the Superior Labour Court and the Administrative Council of Tax Appeals.
Macapá and Santana Free Trade Zone
The firm works with the incentives of the Macapá and Santana Free Trade Zone and with the Amapá Import Corridor, including the planning of operations under the Brazilian tax reform that takes effect in 2027. Clients have access to a calculator built by the firm, which estimates the tax burden of an operation before the decision is made.
